Zieba Builders, Inc. I believe the tile was from Porcelanosa. It was set on a mud bed, and not terribly difficult to install if you are patient! For all small mosaics, or patterns with an obvious linear pattern, walls need to be perfectly plumb and square for the best overall outcome. Good luck!
What is the color and material of the bath surround? Is it Quartz (Silestone in Beige OIimpo) by any chance? Thanks so much. Beautiful use of neutrals, balance and texture! »
Zieba Builders, Inc. Thank you for the question. It's Gedatsu by Silestone. You can also use Lagos Blue from Caesarstone (slightly blue/green undertones).
hi
what is the size of the tiles in the shower floor. my contractor is telling me that i should not put a tile bigger than 6 inchs in the shower floor due to problems with drainage. i love the look of this shower »
Zieba Builders, Inc. Hi, and thanks for asking. The shower floor is made from custom cut slab pieces. There's no trouble with drainage as long as the shower pan is constructed properly. However, while we achieved the look we were after, this material was very difficult to work with due to the weight of the slabs. I would consider doing some research on alternative material.
Planning shower installation with co-worker; something dark, vertical and interesting. This looks like a poured floor from tub...cool. We are liking the new longer linear drain option too.
