Let me tell you.....I will be heading to the flea market today after seeing the way these vintage suits are displayed. These could have been great grandma Ethel's suits...but the way the family has them as monikers...is one of the best idea's I have seen in a long time. Perfect if you had a Beach house or Lake cabin.
This wall is literally dressed now.
When displaying your collection, odd numbers like 3 or 5 seem to be more pleasing to the eye. How wonderful that these vintage swimsuits are here to be viewed and enjoyed instead of stuck in a drawer somewhere.
Or wait, was Simone the first Aussie to let us into her Australian beach house? Either way, we're grateful to both Sarah and Simone for letting us see all of their creative design moves, use of vintage items, and beautiful settings.
Take a cue from Brisbane-based blogger Beach Vintage and frame a collection of vintage swimming costumes. It's quirky and charming and would certainly make any visitor smile! Or, put your own spin on it by framing whatever personal mementos you have on hand; matchbooks or coasters from vacations would have a graphic appeal when framed in a grid.
