bill gantt Rather than remove the radiator for the show house, I elected to create a window seat effect by making an upholstered radiator cover. The top of the cover was insulated and grills were put in the front. This actually makes the radiator more efficient. An upholstered seat pad was made for the top of the seat. The windows were dressed in a double swag with jabots that became tie back drapes. A triple tie up swag and jabot added elegance to the window treatment. A custom made upholstered dressing table sits on the right side of the room.
