Warm cabinets, green counter top, and tumbled stone 3x6 on the back-splash. Looks great but I would substitute a honed or polished 3x6 stone on the back-splash for clean-ability.

The previous "look" was Formica countertops AND backsplash...plus, it was beige, beige, beige. The dark granite and the tumbled tiles anchor the room and give the eye somewhere to land.
