Carpeting for condo - Moving to 2 bedroom condo. Would like living, dining and one bedroom in beige rugs and second bedroom with gray carpet. Do all carpets need to be same color? »
Ginkgo Leaf Studio Mudder, we are landscape designers so I'm not sure we can help you with carpeting ideas. Maybe one our interior designer friends can help you with your question.
Blue Hot Design No, Mudder, but some consistency is generally thought to be visually pleasing. I would put beige and grey in similar 'neutral' color camps.
A carpet style called 'cut and loop' adds texture, without adding pattern. They cost more, and are more interesting than 'plush' carpets, in my opinion.
I still use plush carpets in bedrooms, however, when a client likes that super soft and cushy feel.
