Induction 2 burner cooktop - I have minimum counter top space in my new basement kitchen. I do have a pull out drawer that would accommodate this cooktop . Would some one please advise what I would need to do for that type of installation to pass a building or fire code in Georgia. My design idea is to have the cooktop lift up for use but to collapse down into the drawer for storage therefore adding to my usable counter top. »
You've seen the commercials: Induction cooking is faster than even pro-style gas. It's also safer when children are in the kitchen, as they often are during holiday times. If you can't replace your current cooktop with an induction model, consider adding one as a supplement or purchasing a portable induction burner for extra stovetop capacity.
If you looking for a little bit of the best of everything, modular appliances like this 15" Induction Cooktop are a perfect start. I wouldn't replace my gas cooktop altogether, but having one of this in addition would be a dream. — Rebekah Zaveloff | KitchenLab
