This porch features stunning views of the lake and running trails. The furniture in the space is a mix of old and new, and designer furniture and custom made furniture. We used navy blue flooring material on the ceiling to add interest, color and texture. A new Waverton Cambria top sits on an antique Weiman lacquer table base. Mark Ehlen Photography.

Amber Ranzau I don't have the exact size... it's something that I worked on 3 years ago at my old design firm... I would guess it's like 9' x 40' or something... Sorry I can't be more help!
novembernancy The designer, Amber, was kind enough to write me back and I will share that information with you.
" I believe it's Ben Moore's 968 Dune White. It does look a little more gray on the picture than the sample because of the way the light is coming in the room, but if you look at the picture that shows the sofa, the trim on the door on the left side of the picture seems pretty white. I think picking a soft white with a little more gray would be good for southeast light because it's a warmer light... if you pick one that has a hint of yellow, the yellow will really come through from the southeast light and won't give the look like this porch. (hope that makes sense!)
We used a dark navy vinyl floor covering on the ceiling, so to get the same look, using a dark navy paint might be a good idea with the white/gray walls. The large plants are Fiddle Leaf figs and they are really great plants for porches and areas that get nice sun."
She was very right about the direction the house sets, so I went and got 3 difference whites, including the Dune White, which was very white on my porch. I ended up getting Revere Pewter color by Benjamin Moore and the color is very similar to this one on my porch, which faces South East and has lots of windows.
Marie Keens Could I have one custom made. I would like to place it in a very small area so the table could not be more than 48 inches long and 36 inches wide.
Amber Ranzau The person that made this made it for my client made it for him while he was in South America before we met, but I'm sure a local woodworker or furniture maker could make one for you.
How wide is this sunroom? What is the minimum footage to accomodate dining? I have very similar space to enclose a porch into a sunroom for dining area.
Thanks! »
Emily Hurley I imagine there is a bit of a range of what could work depending on table width and chairs, but I'm sure there must be a good rule of thumb out there somewhere!
Oh my! Where do I start! My porch is a bit smaller so I couldn't have the beautiful table set there, but I love everything else. Especially the porch door and the turn out windows!
