Gonyea Homes & Remodeling The fireplace is framed at 5'-8" to center of studs, so about 6'-0" wide, plus the stone adds another 2" to each side. And it's about 5'-0" to the top of the stone/bottom of the mantel.

we could recreate this design in our room and have just a bumped out sheetrocked wall above the mantel for the TV. I like that the hearth is raised, but wish it had the ledge protruding out in front.

Share this for what it is worth - all a little to squatty but here is the concept of the TV next to the fireplace, I would think your TV would also have to be either over the fireplace or on the right to minimize glare
