Laurie Burke Plus this homeowner did not like the look of tile and wanted few seams to show in her kitchen. She also wanted all her appliances tucked away off the counter. Thus the appliance garage. We also recessed the paper towel holder in the bottom of the wall cabinet because visually she didnt want anything distracting the horizontal lines of the wall cabinets. It worked out well!
