Christian Rice Architects, Inc. A brick patio could look good with several different widths of mortar. It could be whatever you like. I think the brick in this patio has a mortar joint of 1/2" thick.

Christian Rice Architects, Inc. The structure was built out of CMU block and clad with a decorative stone at the sides and cap.

Christian Rice Architects, Inc. There is a wood structure within the columns. The columns are clad with a combination of Hardie Shingle and Azek trim that has been painted. Hope that helps!
