The front doors face a wood burning fireplace and it is approximately 12' wide by the front doors and extends approximately 16' feet to the fireplace. L. Cramer Builders + Remodelers I am glad you like the floor! The wood is a character grade white oak and we matched a wood sample we found with an espresso stain. The wood was water popped which is a process that opens the wood grain and allows it to absorb the stain so a darker color was achieved. Good luck with your project!
