Frederick + Frederick Architects The quonset hut was erected in 1949. We renovated it twice once in 1992 and again in 2007.

I love the contrast of this modern structure next to the traditional house. It's like a really pretty take on a Quonset hut.

This house built from a Quonset hut articulates the chimney with a large base and a narrow flue. The contrast with the curved roof is readily apparent.
