thickness of countertops in kitchen/bathroom? - Hi there - absolutely love your design!. Can you please tell me what the thickness of the countertops are? The granite looks like 3cm+ while the cinder quartz surround looks like 2cm? Bathroom countertops look like they are 3cm. Thank you so much!! »
Counters, tile - stunning - What was the thought of mixing all the different materials? Building a home with several different layer of contours and a prep island - is there a rule of thumb of mixing quartz, granite, ceaserstone...? »
beachinmom This picture is gorgeous...I am considering the same. Wanting to mix granite on the perimeter and quartz island. Having a hard time finding pictures but really thinking about throwing caution to the wind and doing it...who cares if I love it, I guess. I would be mixing slabs of hurricane that looks more like cosmic black w/ an island of stellar night black quartz that has bits of mirror chips. I.e. lots of bling.
Alisha Mccarty I see you commenting on colors alot on here. May I ask how you are good at "eyeballing" so to speak a color similar? You do always suggest Benjamin Moore comparisons??...Thanks
What is the best style of kitchen sink faucet for a center island (the sink is a Franke Orca stainless sink). Should the faucet have a high arch (like a lot of the Hans Grohe ones) or one that slopes upward at a 45 degree angle? A Pacific Salesperson suggested the latter. KWC brand (a swiss brand) seems nice - double insulated and able to clean the calcium deposits easily, supposedly. Have you heard of this brand? »
