This walk-in shower has been tiled with Polished Quartzite slate tiles, two rows of 1x1 strips of Oceanside Glass mosaic, a decorative porcelain mosaic tile was also cut into one row strips a placed between the two rows of glass. Here is an example of a tiled in shower niche.

Thank you so much for inquiring on the material I used on the shower walls on this master bath project. Yes, it is a polished Quartzite 12x12 stone. Quartzite tends to hold up much better than most marble and limestone tiles due to being a denser stone and not as porous as the others. I would recommend going with either a 15 to 20 year penetrating stone sealer. Also consider going Laticrete Spectralock epoxy grout, which never needs to be sealed and will not crack or chip out like the other standard grouts tends to due over time. The Spectralock grout is resistant to mold and mildew too!
