Floor type/Brand name? - what type of flooring is that? brand name etc. LOVE IT »
Would you be willing to share the upper wall paint color name and brand? Also, would you be willing to share the same info for the flooring. Beautiful work...a true talent! Thanks so much. »
Spinnaker Development I believe the homeowner used small wood blocks or shims to float the picture hangars from the wall. The were spaced to allow for the second layer of frames to hang correctly. That said, I tried the same thing in my own home and it didn't look as nice... I think it was a trial and error process...
krismeyers What style moldings did you use on the wainscoting? I can't tell from the photo if plain 1x4 is used or if an addition small piece is inside the panel next to the 1x4. I am wanting to do something like this down the hall for my elderly mother to use for balance. Thank you!
Create a gallery wall. Hallways are a great place to hang all your favorite family photos or works of art. There’s no need to be technical about it: hang them in different arrangements so it doesn’t appear so staged. This hall features layers of frames for a unique touch.Gallery Walls for Every Personality
There's a lot of texture going on in this hallway: rough-hewn wood flooring, paneled wainscoting and a dimensional display of family photos. Yet, because of the neutral color palette, it doesn't look too busy.
The Frames really fill up the space without making it cluttered. I love the message it seems to give that the homeowners' lives are full but not chaotic.
