Glenna Partridge Garden Design The tall plants are standard roses. If you in a zone that has winter temperatures that fall below freezing the plant will lose it's leaves. You would prune the top (round ball) just like you would prune any other rose.
It is BLUE WHISTERIA, ( I am not sure if I spelled it correctly) but it has purple long flowers during spring, and then it looks wonderful against the house, you will have to cut it every week, as it grows fast, if you want to keep it tight. But it gives my house a wonderful look during spring and summer. best regards Gregory
see below - what are the shrubs/bushes that look like they have 2 ball shaped leaves on them? they are trimmed this way with one of the ball shaped on top and a few inches in between and then another under it? »
Be prepared for some digging around a few hedges and bushes — it's just dirt. But if the dog leaves a smelly gift, it's perfectly fine to ask the guardian to scoop up the poop in a plastic bag. The Emily Post Institute says that as long as you ask politely, the guardian probably will not mind at all.
