How is the hardie board plank finished on the corners. I have never seen it done this way and really like it. - I have only seen corners finished with a trim and I think that I do not like it that way. »

Color of weatherboards - Hi I'm in Australia and looking for the color formula for this blue/grey paint. I've bought lots of sample pots to no avail. Any info would be helpful thanks »
I need a color recommendation for foyer if house is this shade of blue. - HI! My front door opens to 1) stairs to second level on left, 2)foyer in the middle that goes straight to an open plan living room/breakfast nook, sunroom 3) formal dining to the right.
What would be an ideal color of the foyer or the rooms that could be seen from the (entry) door).
Thank you.
Note: The color of the door gives the house a refreshing look! Beautiful. »
Orange: With Pantone naming Tangerine Tango the color of the year for 2012, it's never been a better time to think about a cheerful orange citrus shade. Consider adding a matching item, like the picnic table in this picture, by painting a rocking chair or your terracotta pots to match.
Never rely on paint chips alone. Just like interior colors, exterior shades can vary significantly from the way they appear on the chip. And because painting an exterior is a bigger undertaking than simply painting a room, you'll want to get them right the first time. Buy a quart of paint and test it on an inconspicuous area of your home. Study it at various times of day and under different weather conditions. How does it change with the light? Road testing it is the only way to determine for sure if you'll be happy with it for years to come. What colors did you choose for your exterior? Leave a comment and tell us about them!
