mrsben Luv the flooring! Do not know much about concrete flooring but I imagine when finished like this it is far more functional than any hardwood would be particularly if the area is a high traffic one. If not, IMO it is certainly just as attractive!

We're thinking about what to do with the basement floor. If replacing the slab is something we're considering, stained/polished concrete may be an option - this makes it look pretty and warm and inviting.
