What Houzz contributors are saying:
The house was renovated in the 1960s. When the couple purchased it in 2008, it was dated and in serious need of a facelift. Very little was left of the original 1920s home. While many of the couple’s neighbors have tried to recreate that style, Geert and Cecilia were after a completely modern look. Interior designers Jose Stielstra and Yolanda Dinger were brought in to create an entirely new floor plan, which included demolishing walls and adding new ones and gave the the home a modern and glamorous look and feel. All of the work was completed in 10 months.

The compactness of the house's three levels probably due to the brick.
