Joel Snayd The cushions were custom made in Savannah, GA. We purchased and provided the fabric to a local seamstress in our area. The navy blue fabric with the white piping is from Sunbrella. The yellow pillow fabric is by Trina Turk and sold through Schumacher (to the trade). You can purchase the fabric through us or find a local designer / retailer in your area. Try searching online as well. Good luck!
Are the screens removable? Or are the screens roll down? - We have a porch we would like to screen in and are having discussions on how it could be done. The porch has an existing railing and posts to the covered roof line, similar to your photo. Thank you. »
Michael FitzSimmons Decorative Arts There are screens that roll down in a track and secure to the floor to create a bug-free porch. In this instance, they would mount inside the railings, so some sort of minimal additional structure would need to be created to hold the track. We used a system like this in a lake house a number of years ago. I forget the company name, but I'm sure you can google "retractable porch screening" or something like that.
Joel Snayd Hi. Yes. it is 1960s vintage spun fiberglass outdoor furniture. We had new cushions made using Sunbrella fabric. The iron urns are most likely from the 1920s.
The team had to maximize the footprint of the house almost to the edge of the small site to gain more square footage. Since there wasn't a ton of room for landscaping, they added in a sizable screened front porch — a must in mosquito-laden Georgia.Outdoor furniture: vintage, reupholstered with Sunbrella and Trina Turk for Schumacher fabric
Turn your hues up a notch or two. Brilliant blue and cheery pops of yellow turn up the volume on the usual coastal palette for this Tybee Island, Georgia, screened-in porch.See the rest of this home
