The first floor powder room continues the home's nautical color scheme of navy and white. Thibaut's St. Barth's wallpaper is a standout against the traditional pedestal sink, Restoration Hardware fixtures, and classic Carrara Marble hexagon tiled floor.

Wallpaper - In your opinion, would this wallpaper work in a dining room with a salvaged wood table and canary yellow chairs? »
Michael Robert Construction Depends on how much wall there is and what look you are trying to achieve. I think it would work if there was something breaking up the walls like several large openings or windows, but if not it may be a lot going on. It will definitely be more of an eclectic feel than this more traditional powder room.
MIRROR DIMENSIONS? - Thanks in advance for the reply. We are near done w our exact (on a budget) copy of this bathroom. Your great ideas have saved me a ton of time and hassle!!! »
Michael Robert Construction Hi! The mirror is 24" x 30". It is the Restoration Hardware Lugarno mirror, seen here: http://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod1557039 Thank you so much for your kind words! I'd love to see the photos of your finished room. Make sure you message them over to me either via Houzz or email, ellie@michaelrobertconstruction.com. What a compliment! -Ellie
Michael Robert Construction no, I absolutely recommend it. They aren't the biggest you can get, but they're big enough to make a statement. Don't regret it in the least! And... stalk away! Thanks for your lovely comments. You can see more on our website, http://www.michaelrobertconstruction.com - Ellie
Michael Robert Construction It is just resting there. No problem with tarnishing. It was a food safe tray. A few ideas:
What kind of paper are you looking at? Thibaut and stroheim, among others, have amazingly beautiful vinyl (don't cringe! I swear you'd never know!!) textured papers. We used them in both my sons' rooms. They are absolutely indestructible! You can scrub, bleach, wipe.., even better than paint. Also, have you considered breadboard or paneling? That's a common way to protect the wallpaper. That's what we did in our foyer where we have grass cloth. Good luck!
krisgal94 Going to get one of those! I thought I was the only one with a problem with moisture behind the sink. I keep blaming the kids. They will be thankful I discovered this!!
Michael Robert Construction You went to their website? It's thibautdesign.com I think. Where are you located? I know several places here in nj where you can purchase it.

It's from the Jubilee collection, and it's relatively new in the past year. Good luck with your project!
