Color of flooring? - I would ilke to know the color and maker of the flooring - I have light oak cabinets in my kitchen and tile currently however we have gunstock hardwood in our family room. Looks great in there but was wanting to know if that would be a good color of hardwood to match the light oak cabinets? »
Julia Williams, ASID This was my clients' existing flooring, so I don't know the maker, but it is a natural oak with a clear finish. I hope this helps and good luck with your project!
Julia Williams, ASID Thanks Bob, they are beautiful fixtures! They're from Rejuvenation (www.rejuvenation.com) - the Coronado pendant fixture with a bell shade.
Julia Williams, ASID This level of project, including all new cabinetry, appliances, all the "upgrades" inside the cabinets that you don't see, plus flooring, lighting, painting and window coverings, comes to between $75-100K.
Cabinet wood type and stain - please? - Can you please tell me what wood and stain is on these cabinets? Is it a natural cherry with no stain? I love the color and I wonder if it gets darker over time.
Thank you! »
nice lights. Maybe we just have to get over the idea of white cabinets and EMBRACE HONEY OAK FLOORS ALL OVER THE PLACE. With area rugs throughout the house the only oak we will actually see will be around the edges. A LIGHT COLORED TILE FLOOR IN THE KITCHEN AND MAYBE EVEN IN THE DINING ROOM WOULD WORK.
