Even though this "balustrade/railing" is actually part of a stairway inside a home...I had to include it in this Ideabook since this design could easily be re-created for a porch balustrade. I really like these balustrades with pretty little cut-out details. I've usually considered them more appropriate for decks, but they might work in the white room, and the white would be an appropriate colour for them, so the room wouldn't look too busy.

I really like these balustrades. I think this type of balustrade is usually more appropriate for decks, but inside or out, it's nice to have these pretty little details repeated in the wooden rails.
