Colander; in 18/10 stainless steel mirror polished.  As soon as the range was launched in 1986, after eight years of research, it became firmly established as one of the most sophisticated sets of kitchenware ever created at the industrial level.  Our research for this project began with the broad historical study of cooking methods, but more importantly, involved from the very beginning, not only Sapper, but also some of the most interesting chefs in the 1980s.  Starting in 2003 this series is also produced in multiply (coating in AISI 430 steel, a thick layer of aluminum, and an 18/10 stainless steel lining) and in 2006 the introduction of the newest version in heavy cold-cast aluminum with a non-stick surface.  Manufactured by Alessi.
