Fritz Hansen Oxford Armchair
The original version of the Oxford chair was designed for the professors at St. Catherine’s College in Oxford, in 1963. The professor's chair, which later evolved into the Oxford series, was designed with an extra tall back, a symbol of prestige, and created a space of its own. The chair comes in a wide range of fabric or leather upholstery options. All chairs are available with nonupholstered aluminum armrests and have a low, medium, or high back. The base is crafted from satin polished aluminum and has a five star swivel with a fixed seat height. Chairs with fixed seat heights have a spring function. The shells are made of laminated molded sliced veneer. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen. Price includes shipping to the USA.Designed in 1965.
