As exploration evolved, the pattern was refined to efficiently use material and create a comfortable saddle-shaped seat. Part of the permanent collection, Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven Connecticut. In 2010, the Felt Stool became part of MoMA's Permanent Collection of Architecture & Design.
