Fritz Hansen Grand Prix Dining Chair

The Grand Prix™ design by Arne Jacobsen, was introduced by Fritz Hansen at the Designer's Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen, in 1957.  Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition.  This chair is available in three versions: laminated, full upholstered, and front upholstered.  The laminated version is made of pressure molded sliced veneer and the base is crafted from chrome steel tubes.  This product is available in white, light grey, dark grey, black, yellow, orange, red, petrol blue, and sage green with a colored ash or lacquered finish.  This product is also available in two wood veneers: beech and walnut with a clear lacquered finish.  The full upholstered version is available in a wide range of fabrics and  leathers.  The front upholstered version is available with a fabric or leather front, and a colored ash or wood veneer back.  Manufactured by Fritz Hansen.  Price includes shipping to the USA.Base is also available in a blackchromed finish with upcharge.
