easterling6 I don't understand or maybe I'm confused... is it my question that would amaze anyone? It is not uncommon on house sites to have the exterior of a home pictured and a snapshot of the floor plan. Sometimes they even sell the floorplans, I was just curious to see the layout. I like the Houzz website but would like for it to have floorplans like other sites do.
rbcola You are absolutely right about that. However....I have found that when I see "amazing" home designs on houzz.com.....90% are unique to the home owner who likely worked with an architect and paid BIG BUCKS .....much more than the websites you mentioned and the design is custom. You've paid the architect or the builder specifically to design a home that suits YOU. The plans on the internet that show floorplans etc can be very nice.....sometimes spectacular. But they are rarely.....rarely......comparable to a custom designed home plan. That's all I meant. Believe me if this were a bulder / architect that advertises their work on line.......It will serve you and them well to have included the plan with the pictures. I mean no insult to you. I've looked at both online and worked with an architect. We've been working on this goal for the last 2 years. That's why I know. We tried to find what we liked on the internet; my builder promoted that search first - knowing that if we went w/an architect - it would take much longer and cost much more. Hope this explains my comment. Best wishes to you easterlings6!!
