Jennifer Bishop Design I have never "felted" myself so I don't entirely know how to explain in but in a nutshell, it's a process where you can turn wool yarn into a fabric-like material by washing the yarn. This Etsy user used a combination of the felted material as well as real acorn caps to make these adorable ornaments.
mousemaker it's easy. there are different ways to felt though. needle felting, washing machine, or hand felting. the yarn needs to be mostly or all wool so that it will felt. you can add a little soap if you like.
the acorns look really cute and would be simple to make.. a fun idea!
