Grandiose designs! Is the swimming pool safe on the hillside?

I love your question. Ive done negative edge pools on projects for 25+ years and have never heard of anyone falling out of one yet. They are a natural on a hillside lot in my opinion. Often clients want one but their lot doesn't have sufficient elevation to create the proper effect. My favorite thing about them other than the dramatic views they produce or enhance is that with the pool pushed to the edge of the yard, the patio becomes the center of the space rather than the pool taking up all the room. On these hillside lots, all flat areas are created space and are precious and I hate seeing them dominated by having a pool in the middle.
