Christian Rice Architects, Inc. It is real wood siding-- It is a wood called Ipe-- a sustainably harvested Brazilian hardwood. It is similar to Teak-- with a red-brown color when oiled but will weather to a light gray if left to the elements. Any specialty store selling hardwoods would sell it-- or you may be able to find it at your local large hardware store in the outdoor decking department. Good luck!
