Heritage Design Studio You can save just about any photograph you see on Houzz to an "ideabook"- think of them as virtual scrapbook collections. Just hover your mouse over any picture on Houzz and you'll see an pop up that says "add to ideabook". Ideabooks are unique to your profile, and you can make them private if you wish or public for collaborating with a design team. A public ideabook needs only your profile name (not your password) to access from any computer or account, but only YOU can modify your ideabook. You can also manage and organize them, as well as add notes for reference- I have several clients who have a separate ideabook for every room in the house. This is, in my mind, a better way to save photos you like than having them emailed to you.
Thanks for the question!
Heritage Design Studio Yes, it is stucco and it has a very light taupe color (although in most lighting it looks quite white). It has a relatively smooth texture, although if you get close enough, it does have some.
Heritage Design Studio Hmmm.. You are using some terms there I am not familiar with. Assuming "plot area" means lot size, it was just under 22k s.f. (little over 1/2 acre). We generally don't do finish calculations for the projects (the carpet area?) but the A/C footage for the design was 9113, which included the 569 s.f. detached guest house in the back (although there were some 2nd floor alteration made during construction that probably added to that number slightly.)
what is the square footage on this home and how big was the parcel of land it was built on? I love this house, are there phots of the inside and remaining outside somewhere else on houzz? i am new to this site.thanks »
Heritage Design Studio Thanks for the question. This was a show house for 2010 (it has since sold), and it was built on a 1/2 acre of land; although this particular lot backed up to a large water feature and also had one to the right side as well, so it felt as if it was on a much larger piece of land. The main house is 8500 s.f. (a/c), and it also had a small guest house that could also double as a pool pavilion that was 600 s.f..
If you look up my profile (Heritage Design Studio) I have quite a few pictures of the inside and a few more of the outside of this house in particular.

Simple yet elegant - this might be our favorite overall look among these pictures - brown window frames contrasting with color of stucco, recessed windows, beautiful balcony with the V-shaped thing below, carving over the porch, balcony over the bay window...awesome.
I like how on the right side of the house he comes back towards you. Leave the first floor open and have a bedroom on the second floor that extends back towards the lake.
Thanks for the question!
