Music Stands

This jatoba, rosewood and copper music stand was inspired by the shape of a metronome. Solid, strong and powerful, it rises from the floor with a commanding presence. The board that holds the music is composed of five copper bars that reference sheet music stanzas.

Materials: Jatoba is an African hardwood, very dense reddish brown with dark grain pattern. The rosewood was harvested over 70 years ago and passed from a mandolin maker to a carousel maker and then to Three Elements Studios - what a history! The copper hardware is all finely custom machined by a metalsmith. The piece is finished with hand-rubbed oil.

This music stand has won multiple awards including: Second Place in Contemporary Design, 2007 "Design in Wood". Del Mar, California and Best First Time in Show, 2009 Northern Woods Exhibition, Edina, MN. It is a one-of-a-kind work of art and fine craftsmanship.

Dimensions: 23 1/2"w x 10"d with adjustable height and angle. Designed for a standing musician. Can also be used as a book display or dictionary stand.
