Please test the color first to make sure you like it. Photographs can misrepresent a color and it will look different in different spaces. Kemp Hall Studio It is difficult to get a more grey finish and usually involves a custom stain mix or a multi-step process. Sometimes, they can bleach the floor first and that can help remove some of the reds and yellows that are present in the raw wood.

Kemp Hall Studio It was a custom stain. We will use multiple stains and play with different mixes. We usually use some ebony in the mix to darken it and give it more of a grey hue. However, be careful as Ebony can also give a greenish tint. Good luck!
