I see the next room (stairs) is cream color,...are there any pics of that room? I would like to paint our kitchen Ball Green, but it opens into the Great Room and that room includes the stairway to the second floor. Would green be too strong of a color throughout? »
yellowshoes Hi there. I love your style and am trying to bring a little east coast farm house vibe to our Colorado home (we are from the east coast). I painted our 1992 20 ft. foyer Farrow & Ball's Pigeon. We are converting the carpeted stairs that lead straight to the front door to wood. I need to install a runner down the stairs for our old furry friend. Any advice? Plain? Oriental (like above?) I am interested in hearing your thoughts.
Cheryl Van Waterschoot We ended up painting our main floor Great Room B M "Bleeker Beige" and the Kitchen/Eating Area B M "White Sand". Our stairs are wood (Heirloom Brown), the "Pickets" are painted white, and the hand-rail is stained the same color as the stairs. I was raised in a Colonial house where the "risers" where painted WHITE. Should we carpet the stairs with a "runner" like "Sisal"?...or something else? Is it o.k. to leave the stairs alone?
Crisp Architects My mistake! I spoke to the owner(who picked the colors) and this room is Farrow and Ball - Ball Green. The trim is Ben Moore Navajo White.
