If you like to entertain, you may want your dining room to feel warm and intimate. After all, dinner parties are often where friendships are forged. To make your room feel as cozy as your relationships, keep these two important tips in mind: Pattern on the ceiling makes the ceiling feel lower, and pattern on the walls makes the room look smaller. In a dining room that feels too large to be inviting, adding pattern to the walls and ceiling can be helpful.
Mural fresco painting. Mural fresco painting adorned the walls of the more palatial Renaissance homes. Again, this highly decorative painting has influenced many elaborate wallpapers, while hand painting is reserved for the experts.
This is just amazing. Looks so luxurious, even though it is a relatively small space. Love the chair colors and the chandelier and the ceiling. Amazing.
This dining room is fantastic. It reminds me of a dining room in Clemson at the botanical gardens but that room had trees and it was lightend as though there was fog in the trees. I always loved that room.
