Transitional Contemporary Master Bathroom

By incorporating a useless corridor into our design we created a larger more functional master bathroom and dressing suite. The dressing suite consists of a closet and laundry areas, seating, viewing and a separate closet for shoes. The master bathroom has a steam shower, soaking tub, double vanity and separate water closet.

We designed the new space to be open to the bedroom when wanted or closed as preferred through a series of sliding screens. This tall gateway was designed in a elegant brown/red mahogany. This single pallet of material lets the more flamboyant tiles in the shower floor, porcelain sisal tile flooring and cleft finish black slate used on the walls of the water closet. The dressing area is more subdued with dark mahogany dominant and carious translucent glass panels allowing depth and mystery.

The new space has completely transformed the owners bathing and dressing rituals.
