Christian Gladu Design I do a lot of these nooks and I usually make them at least 6'wide and 6' deep. You need to maintian the same dimension from the face of the table to the back of the seat so if you have less space you end up with a narrower table. Just make sure the table will fit plates and a little extra space on both sides. The depht is mor flexible depending on how many people you want to seat . I think 30" minium per person works but 36" is better.
