Rebekah Zaveloff That's great looking - Squak Mountain has a color called Thunder that looks a lot like this color. I've used concrete many times over the years and love it for kitchens. It could also be honed black granite with a thicker mitered edge or possibly even soapstone which sometimes photographs more black than it is in person.

wei1 Thank you very much. I love the concrete look, but so many comments regarding staining, I am not sure if it's worth doing it anymore.

love the white contrast of the sink with black countertops. The lighter shade of green with the backsplash is a lovely touch. The darker pulls give a nice contrast. Other good tie ins are the oil rubbed bronze faucet and lighting fixtures. Warm flooring looks nice
