A HEAVEN IN VALENCIA, KUALA LUMPUR (magazine write up) ----------------------------------------------------
Valencia Residence is a dream come true for home owners with the help of the interior design team from Allegro Design who convincingly transformed a plain palette into a tasteful abode fit for a king. The interior space is designed with a strong sense of luxury, style and class. The layout of the common space is clean and clear. The beige marble flooring complements the dark rich tones of the furniture in the living and dining areas. As you can see in the living area, accent pillows in red, orange, bronze and caramel complete a warm and inviting setting.
On the other hand, old Asian charm is reflected in the dining area overlooking the majestic scenery of the pool and the lush landscape. And as you walk towards the kitchen, you may feel a little intimidated by the strong black reflective surfaces.
However, the designers have cleverly balanced up the ambience by bringing in the greeneries from outside into the interior space.
Moving on, let’s take a look at the master bedroom that translates into one word – stunning! Dark brown edges are used as wall borders to define the spaces respectively. The daybed and wing chair by the window panes for instance are a beautiful sight captured in the dark brown frame.
And don’t forget to take a peek outside as it will take your breath away. A garden landscape with a Roman-bath-inspired pool, frangipanis, luscious greeneries, a gazebo and warm lighting create a holistic ambience for the whole family.
Plus, it doesn’t come to my surprise that this beautiful space is the gold award winning design of IIDA InteriCAD Interior Design Award in 2009.
Allegro Design Kuala Lumpur Hi. Welcome to allegro design page.
It is a beige sandstone from Jawa.
I had it specially cut to the size and thickness for the pool copping and the 4 pedestals.
Allegro Design Kuala Lumpur Hi. It is the natural lighting at dusk surrounding the area and the lights from within the house itself.
There is no assisted photography lights as the area is too big for it to work.

A lit up pool is almost always a thing of beauty. The oversized bowls on the slate columns are perfect and the grass and concrete walkway is geometrically beautiful.
