K B Thanks for your prompt response. This is exactly what I planned to do in our new home. It was a lot easier to explain it to my husband when I showed him your pictures. Very helpful and much appreciated.

Ron Brenner Architects The room dimensions are approximately 13' wide(left to right) x 15'-6" deep. Bedrooms do not need to be large if they have a functional layout and good circulation patterns.

jallred I agree. Thank you for the reply. We are trying to come up with a good layout where we don't have wasted space in the bedrooms, but it is harder than I thought. Thanks again.
