mnovey I really like the front porch which adds a different dimension to the box shape of the colonial. What is the ballpark cost to add this to an existing colonial and how do you get started with design plans for a project like this.

Ron Brenner Architects The porch is about 10' deep, extends the width of the house and wraps the corner back to a sunroom. From the corner to the sunroom it is a screen porch.

However this appears to be a custom design constructed from cedar boards, rails and newel posts; with all components painted. The components should be available at most good lumber yards. This is a very classic, traditional look.

The Shabby Nest Valspar's Quail Egg is a similar color.
