ediegaines Thank you for the information. I really didn't want to go with a vessel sink. Instead, I finally found and have purchased 2 oval nantuket undermount sinks that measure 10 deep (front to back) inside and 13 wide. Outside dimensions are 12 x 15. With the 12" depth they should fit nicely into a 16" deep vanity - the granite top would be 17" (for the 1" overhang - I'm thinking). I will be making the vanity and will post pictures once all is complete. Wish me luck!

Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc The mosaic tile is crushed glass from Sonoma Tile, available through Crossville. Not sure who the manufacturer is for the slate, but we sourced both materials through Crossville Tile.
