Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc The wood stain was a custom blend to coordinate with the cabinetry and the wood floors. Most of the wood work in this house (floors, cabinetry, interior doors) was either Alder or Fir. Hope that helps!
Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc The barstools came from a company called Four Hands, but they have since been discontinued. I've seen similar ones available through Pier 1, or a local furniture store called Four Corners Home - in Asheville, NC.
Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc The accent lighting that washes the stone on the fireplace was provided by Christi at Lux Lighting in Asheville, NC. She can tell you what the fixtures are and how much they would be. Just google them. They are great to work with. Hope that helps!
Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc We are the interior designers that worked on this project with Living Stone Construction. The wall color is Sherwin Williams Macadamia. It's a wonderful warm neutral tone that makes a great backdrop for almost any accent color.
Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc I don't recall the length of the curve on the railing, but the stone surround of the fireplace is Tennessee Fieldstone, with a wood mantle.
Could you please share the footprint size for what I'm seeing in this picture? Kitchen and living area ?Thanks! And the open to below stairway, of course! »
Living Stone Construction, Inc. Actually, the kitchen is a separate room with a separate footprint. This 30x30 room contains living, dining, foyer, bar and stairways.
Liliana Hudescu The bar played a trick on me...I thought is the kitchen ! It is a beautiful layout that caught my attention because of the overwhelming warmness that is hard to achieve when dealing with open 3D spaces. We are in the design phase of a house ,which is limited to 40ft in height and has to have a minimum elevation of 7 feet. The lot carries other setbacks and limitations -the most important one being 10 live oaks right in the middle of it. So...coming back to your great design...Because of the height issue,I 'm trying to find a solution (like a split ) to accommodate an office-library 1/2 level up and out of the family room -which for us -in your picture -would be the overlooking balcony.
Allard & Roberts Interior Design, Inc Glad you like it! So do we. The manufacturer is Terra Sur, and the table is available through Four Corners Home in Asheville, NC. You can google them, and ask for Bill Griffin. He's one of the owners and can help you with a price quote.
This photo was nice for having a part of the house on each side of it. Both on the top and bottom floor it can access both sides without having to mess with any other rooms in the center.
