Jaque Bethke for PURE Design Environments Inc. The main work countertops are set at 36" the glass is set 1'1/4" higher and the barrier countertop is set at 48". This can be very tricky to do. If you are planning to do something like this without a designer please be very careful. An inch or two will mean discomfort either sitting or standing. A strike off (sample) was made from the colors that we specified and we then had it fabricated through our local glass company. A top of this size and weight with this type of design and edge detail will be between 12 and 15 thousand dollars so you have an idea.

Jaque Bethke for PURE Design Environments Inc. The Island is made of three surfaces , a granite that is called Coca Bahiba and it is in what we call a "leather finish". This gives it a wonderful texture but keeps the quartz brilliance.
Second product is a product from a company called Ceaserstone and I love this product for many applications and because it is so clean. Thirdly, a custom glass top that has been etched and back painted with a nibbled edge. All three of the material combined bring the two toned cabinets together for a cohesive look.
