A unique twist on a laundry room. Making the space enjoyable to be in. From the antique crackled black and cream arabesque patterned backsplash to the turquoise glazed cabinets. Every room must have a little sparkle, highlighted with a capiz shell chandelier!

Design Studio2010, LLC The backsplash is fabulous clay tile that was painted and glazed by the tile manufacture. We purchase the material from Architectural Tile & Stone, in Austin, TX.

chispa The chandelier is by Murray Feiss in their Cascade Collection. There are about 5 different sizes.

This chandelier certainly does sparkle, but it's not practical lighting for the laundry room on its own. Fortunately, it doesn't need to do the heavy lifting in this room because there are recessed lights for ambient lighting and undercabinet lighting for task lighting. Other than added counter space, better lighting is one of the first upgrades you should make to your laundry room, so you don't end up stepping out of the house with a spot on your shirt you couldn't see.
