lori_mcconnell Hi readers. This is an easy project. First decide what side you want the paint to be on. The paint is more protected on the backside from inquisitive onlookers & little hands. On your computer, print each word, select your font, size, scale, width, etc of each word. Print it out, place it on the opposite side that you want to paint on, perhaps tape the corners to hold it firm/flat, & trace/draw around each letter on the side you will be painting on with magic marker. Preferrably the same colour of the paint. After tracing, you decide if you want to capture each word first or paint each word as you go. Do NOT torture yourself to try to stay in the lines for there is an easy way to define your work. Once the paint is dry, use a straight razor to cut away/back the excess paint. Define your letters. Use small tools to create straight corners like a ruler or round edges, etc. If you need to, scrape it off & start all over. The glass is very forgiving. This is the easiest project I've ever done. I am working on a 1st birthday gift for a niece & an anniversary window for my parents. In my city, as I'm sure many more, I am contacting Habitat for Humanity to make arrangements to look for old windows. In my case, the older, the better. Good luck.
