Could I use one on 2 sides of 2 of the walls? »
Please- some advice on window coverings. I have floor to ceiling windows with a great view and a large expanse in my living room (window expanse is 21 feet long and 11feet high). I want some more softness in the room, but don't want a lot of fabric that blocks the window. Any ideas for a soft treatment? »
Kerrie L. Kelly A look that is really clean, but has a softness due to the fabric comes from a product called Vignette from Hunter Douglas. It allows for a filtered view like a shutter or an open view when the shade is drawn into the header. I believe it can also go on remote with several fabric colors available. My clients loved it so much, I installed in my bedroom and now I love it too! http://www.hunterdouglas.com/our-products.jsp#/P_3/

There isn't a lot in this bedroom, but each thing is chosen with care. The textures of the bedding and soft throw are so warm and inviting. They beautifully complement the soft neutral colors of the stone fireplace, and it all harmonizes with the beautiful view.
This is one of the most beautiful views I've seen from a bedroom. Wouldn't it be hard to draw those draperies closed? The giant panes of glass, with no mullions to divide them, give you the maximum view of coastline, ocean and sky.
And now for a completely different take on stacked stone. The unobtrusive fireplace and warm tones in its surrounding wall really bring this minimalist space to life, yet blend with the jaw-dropping views from the window wall.
1. Commit to creating a place to rest and refresh. As a private space, the bedroom has the potential to be a restorative haven in a busy world. Instead of using it as yet another place to work, eat and watch TV, set an intention to make your bedroom a sanctuary.Readers' Picks: Top 20 Bedrooms
