Barefoot Design Group, LLC The ceiling is 1x6 T&G Red Cypress that has been "pickled" (bleached). It is our ceiling of choice for our island environment.

Barefoot Design Group, LLC The ceiling is 1x6 T&G Red Cyress with a white "pickling" (bleached). Unfortunately Cypress is typically a soft wood and would not be appropriate to be used as flooring. Other woods with a similar grain could be finished in a similar manner.
