The Woodshop of Avon The Appliance Pulls are "Top Knob" M823 PTA with M881 12" Backplate on the refrigerator and they were purchased at Brass Handle in Minneapolis.
The Woodshop of Avon Thanks for the question. The "table" is constructed with the island but the turned base can be purchased unfinished through our company. The stools were purchased by the homeowner and I don't have any information on those. Thanks.
What is the width of the walk way between the island counter and the computer nook counter? - I'm trying to understand the spacing of the island and nook behind it. I'd like to get an understanding of how much space is there and if it's cramped when people use the stools for seating. »
What is the diameter of the round end of the island? - Also, I see 3 stools but it looks like it could fit more, is this correct or is 3 about all that would be comfortable? »
The Woodshop of Avon Thanks for the question. The tile was selected by the homeowner and their designer but I can tell you the dimensions. The larger square is 4" and the small accent tile is 2".
The Woodshop of Avon The computer nook is deeper in the center (cabinet is 25 1/4" deep) and on either side it is 22 1/4" deep. This is where the uppers sit down on top of the granite. There is no radius on the top.
The Woodshop of Avon The depth of the countertop is 33" and the length of the rectangular portion is 66". The overall length of the island countertop is 108"
The Woodshop of Avon Thanks! The Woodshop of Avon is a custom cabinetry manufacturer and design studio. We can make an island similar to this with your specifications. Please contact us directly for more info. We look forward to hearing from you! Thanks again!
The Woodshop of Avon Thanks for your question Corrine! The countertop is a natural soapstone with an oiled finish and the cabinetry is a custom paint with glaze. Thanks again and let us know if you need more information.
The Woodshop of Avon The material is soapstone and like granite, you will want to look at slabs for color. It is sometimes classified as "green" soaptstone.
tropitango judging from the pedestal on the table end of the island, it looks like the paint is colormatched to the walls. The other end of the island is "lighter" but I think it is from lighting. I like how the island color is pulled in, by using the wall color if that is what they did. Very nice.
nshagen Glacial Wood Products can also make any custom piece for you - their website has some examples but they'll replicate anything from a picture :) www.glacialwood.net
round table instead of square? Love how the colors don't match the rest of the cabinets. Would need a bigger table with at least 4 - 5 seats. I do like the benches, though.
